What is a VPK file?
The .vpk file extension is most commonly associated with the Verge3 game engine. This game engine was created to help developers design rpgs, although it can be used to create almost any game in the SuperNintendo or Genesis style. The VPK files are written in the C++ programming language, allowing for greater flexibility.
The .vpk file extension is also used for Steam NCF Valve Pak archive files and EverQuest II game archive files.

I'm trying to fix the CM2013 mod so the dildos, graffiti, Playboy, new sounds, and other garbage are removed; the end goal is to only have nice graphics.
I'm trying to edit the .vpk files and even though I'm supposed to use GCFScape to extract a root file and then use vpk.exe to create another vpk file, whenever I drag and drop, it doesn't do anything.
Am I missing something? The command prompt flashes for a second and then nothing. I do the following:
Open CM_base_dir.vpk with GCFScape
Extract the root folder to desktop
Remove/replace the sounds/files as needed
Drag the root folder onto vpk.exe
Vpk.exe Download
And then nothing happens
